If you were to ask me what could make my job as a lifestyle newborn photographer even more exciting, I’d tell you it’s this….this session! Being able to travel AND do the job I love, while also spending time with the people I love. Seriously, does it get any better? Mau and Tav are two of our closest friends. They just relocated last fall to their next military base in Royal Oak, MI and welcomed Baby Bo at the end of May. I was so excited to fly out there this summer. We had so much fun catching up with them and documenting their beautiful family in their new home.

Baby Bo was a little older for his lifestyle newborn session than most babies I photograph. He was wide awake while we did his newborn photos and that’s one of the perks of lifestyle sessions – I don’t necessarily need them super sleepy (or asleep at all for that matter). In fact, it can be really sweet to see them begin to recognize and interact with Mom and Dad!

Mau and Tav, you two are seriously rocking parenthood and it was so sweet to see you both in your element. Baby bo is the sweetest little boy and we cannot wait to see you all again. Soon, please!
